The StraightJazz network of musicians and ensembles is dedicated to providing tasteful, sophisticated musical accompaniment for large and small gatherings of friends, family and associates.  We are commited to being attentive at all times to the people and groups for whom we are playing, selecting music and playing at a volume that enhances the experience and supports the purpose of the celebrations and gatherings to which we have been invited.

John Henry Goldman is a jazz trumpeter and band leader with over fifty years of experience.  Trained by 20th century jazz greats Jimmy Maxwell, Nicholas Rodriguez and Lisle Atkinson, Mr. Goldman has developed friendships and musical associations with many wonderful and accomplished musicians in the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia area.  It is from this network that an ensemble appropriate to the unique needs of each public or private engagement is created.
