Conversations in Jazz

StraightJazz Productions has been offering concerts and performances in the tri-state area for over twenty years. It’s public and private events feature collaborations of the area’s finest musicians. The newest group is called JOSITOBO, an eight-letter “acronym” of its members names, John Henry, Sim Cain, Tom Tallitsch, and Wilbo Wright.  Brought together for the first time, the spring of 2024 highlights a series of concerts of this never-before recorded group playing original compositions and carefully selected gems from the library of great composers.

There are no audio or video recordings of JOSITOBO in performance as yet, these will be available after the 2024 spring concerts.  However, this YouTube video is an eight-minute collage of photographs, posters, and audio recordings from the past twenty years of John Henry Goldman’s StraightJazz Productions.  A short clip of JOSITOBO rehearsing Ernest Ranglin’s Swaziland is found at the end.
